After graduating with a degree in Wildlife Conservation with Zoo Biology, Katherine went to Malawi with the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust to help rehabilitate orphaned and injured monkeys.
Her subsequent MSc in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation took her to South Africa to study a troop of kitchen-raiding vervet monkeys. She has spent 12 months at Chester Zoo on an internship with the primate team.
“Thank you to the fantastic teachers at CHS who believed I could get through my A Level biology (I never thought I would!)”
