Vaughan joined CHS in 1975 as a Maths teacher and took an active role in the life of the School. He was an inspiration to many Lacrosse players throughout his time at the School and coached numerous successful teams.
He became known not only for his Lacrosse coaching but also his dedication to the Columbus Fellowship, Cheadle Hulme Challenge and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Schemes. He was a stalwart of the CHS community.
Sadly, in February 2016 Vaughan passed away. He left a gift to support the Bursary Fund and to acknowledge his gift, and time at CHS, a commemorative plaque has been installed in Holden Hall. Vaughan left a lasting legacy and will be fondly remembered by those he worked with and taught during his time here.
